Research summary | Artificial intelligence holds significant potential to enhance Xray-based TB case detection, thereby reducing disease transmission and socio-economic burden of TB. Our X-ray AI TB project represents a collaborative effort among Indonesian and Australian universities and community representatives, guided by principles of equity. Led by women, the project actively engages people with disabilities and individuals from underrepresented groups. It is tailored to local conditions, ensuring sustainability and long-term effectiveness. Our project serves as a testament to the mutual knowledge partnership between Australian and Indonesian organizations, offering innovative solutions for inclusive and sustainable technologies to combat TB in Indonesia. |
