- ClimateWorks (part of Monash University) issued ‘Blue carbon and ocean-based sectors can meet half of Indonesia’s net zero target by 2050′. It compares Indonesia’s current emissions trajectory with the Indonesian government’s formal Transition and Low carbon compatible scenarios, finding that ocean-based strategies have significant potential for positive impact.
- ATSE issued ‘Powering the Net Zero Transition: Electricity Security Explained’, outlining options for urgent energy system decarbonisation.
- The CCA announced a review of technology transition and emissions pathways for transition to net zero by 2050.

- The Recycling Modernisation Fund is open for applications for projects building waste processing and recycling infrastructure for plastics, tyres, paper and cardboard in Western Australia. Applications close 13 October.

- The Women in Climate and Energy Fellowship helps ambitious women launch epic clean energy and climate-tech startups. Applications close 13 October.
- The MRFF 2023 Global Health Grant Opportunity with grants of up to $2 million over 2 years is open for applications now. Applications close 20 September.
- The National Intelligence and Security Discovery Research Grants program is open for expressions of interest until 25 September.
