Environment and Climate Change (ECC)
- BRIN, through its Geological Disaster Research Centre, is studying the main active fault in Java, namely the Baribis-Kendeng Fault, also known as the Java Back-arc Thrust.
- BRIN states that the Ecosystem Design and Community-Based Mangrove Restoration (EDCMR) method can reduce the failure of mangrove rehabilitation. EDCMR is a restoration or rehabilitation package for mangrove ecosystems that utilises an ecosystem design approach, community involvement, and biotechnology.
