| Research summary | The project will address water quality and energy security in Jakarta. Using a mixed-method approach, the project will investigate the adoption of a large freshwater coastal reservoir within the sea at the mouth of the Cisadane River to develop an innovative multipurpose coastal reservoir for the city of Jakarta for water and energy security to alleviate the reliance of poor-quality ground water and associated land subsidence and also to mitigate the effects of climate change. |
