KONEKSI has convened an Environment and Climate Change (ECC) Working Group comprising members from relevant units of Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas), the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek). The Working Group aims to amplify the impacts of KONEKSI-supported research on policy and technology development in Indonesia.

In mid-January, KONEKSI held the kick-off meeting of ECC Working Group. Participants discussed substantial issues on knowledge-to-policy and knowledge-to-innovation transformation efforts stressing Environment and Climate Change. The meeting agenda focused on reaching consensus regarding the roles and responsibilities assigned to Working Group members, considering the potential election of a Chair and Deputy Chair, and exploring opportunities to include new stakeholders as members.
